Charleston Part 2

This is the second post from wedding I got to go to in Charleston. I wasn't the photographer but I got lucky in the fact that the groom and his dad got ready where we were staying so I took the chance to snap a few pictures...

Father and son! Love it. Also notice the crazy decor yet again.

I love boutonniere pictures. LOVE them.

The flowers were all beautiful.

This was taken in the garden I mentioned in the earlier post. I love my sister:).

I loved the flower petals down the aisle. They actually got stuck on some of the bridesmaids shoes. I can't stress how much I loved these flowers. They were such springy colors.

The beautiful bride coming down to meet the groom.

Listening to the bride's sister when she was reading a quote.

Putting the ring on. I love this shot.

Mr. and Mrs!

The reception site was AMAZING. I loved it. It was in a barn like building and there were hanging candles all around and amazing food and drinks. It was a blast. These last shots are details from the reception.

This chandelier was hanging over the cake. It was gorgeous.

Love mason jars.

The surprise groom's cake. Go Dawgs!

Such a cool place to have a wedding. I had so much fun. I hope everyone is doing well and has a great weekend!

Charleston Post 1

This past weekend I was in Charleston, SC for a wedding. I'm breaking up this post into two because there were many many pictures. The wedding was at Boone Hall and it was gorgeous. I got to take a few pictures at the rehearsal too so these first few are from friday morning before the wedding...
There was a beautiful garden right next to the ceremony site that was gorgeous. More of these later...

The bride and groom.

A peak through the trees. By the way I LOVE these trees. I just think they're gorgeous.

Handsome groomsmen coming in

The garden again. I told you I was in love with it.

These beautiful trees again. LOVE LOVE.

Ok so these next few pictures are from the house we stayed at. It was an amazing house but there were definitely some weird quirks that I of course photographed...

Seriously? I didn't even try to work the oven.

What a lovely plant holder.

And the animal theme continues...

Like I said gorgeous house. A little mixed up decor. Fish and also horses in the same room? I'm not sure about all that.

I love these of my gorgeous sister. Every time I see the second one I have that "I whip my hair back and forth" come on in my head.

Another room at the place we had the rehearsal dinner.

That's all for now. Keep posted for more soon from the actual wedding. Hope everyone's doing well!

Bees

A couple of weekends ago I went to Savannah with my family and we were shopping around we came across this store that had all products made from bees. They had honey and cosmetics and soap and lotion and all kinds of stuff. I loved the way they displayed things so I thought I'd share...

Have a great week everyone!

Charleston, SC

So as the summer and job search continue my family and I took a mini vacation to Charleston SC. I'd highly recommend going if you've never been. It's beautiful and has shopping and history and a beach. I mean you really can't top that. Here are some pictures I took over the course of the few days we were there...

Frozen Yogurt is sooooo good when you're exhausted from shopping in the hot.

They had some of the most amazing window displays.

Got the tilt as usual...

This was shot through the fence of an amazing beautiful house.
This was the theater in the movie The Notebook when the main characters have their first date. I didn't realize that the whole movie as well as some of The Patriot was shot in Charleston.

It was such a fun trip. I'm started a new series of photographs tomorrow so hopefully I'll have some more to post on them soon.
