The Cruise of 2010

This was my last spring break and we went on a cruise. I traveled with two of my best friends so it was a ton of fun and as always I turned everything into a picture opportunity:).

So when we travel we bring this little guy with us and we thought it'd be cute to get him going down the Leap of Faith:).

This is the port of Nassau and is what you look at right when you get off the boat.

Busy Busy Busy

What a weekend! It's been nonstop but also packed with fun so I guess the outcome could be a lot worse than me just being tired.

I reshot my whole exit show. I had a little breakdown last week when I realized that my prints could be so much better if I had another camera so I borrowed a friends (Thanks Emily!!!) and had to reshoot 8 different pictures of each of my parents for my show. I don't think I've said yet but I'm making comparative portraits of my parents that will hang right next to each other. I've put an example at the end of this post just so you can see. I have to make the final cut this week because I got to push my framing date back a week. That means this week I'm going to printing like a maniac.:)

Other than that Friday I saw two movies: Dear John, and The Bounty Hunter. I wasn't really sure how to feel about Dear John. I wasn't impressed or disappointed so I'm still not really sure what I thought of it. I loved The Bounty Hunter. I really like both the main actors so that might have had something to do with it but it was a lot better than I expected from the previews. I thought it was going to be one of those movies where all the good parts are on the preview but there were more than that so that's always good.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend and count on a post later this week or earlier next weekend of cruise pictures! I haven't even looked at them yet. I've been saving it as a reward for finishing my show on time.:) Have a great week!

Last week to get myself in GEAR!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to post a little something to say that I'm definitely going to be MIA this week due to everything for my show having to be ready to go to the framers on friday. I'll probably be in the lab every spare moment I get. However, I did want to say that I had a blast on my cruise and took tons of pictures so probably sometimes this next weekend I'm going to be posting some of them. Hope everyone had a great week and I'll be in touch soon!

March Already?!

Well no website yet but I'm still working on it...

As for now, I can't believe it's already March. That means my exit show is only a month and a half away! I got some pictures framed this weekend which really made it real for me that this is coming and going to be here a lot sooner than I thought.

I came home this morning and was in my bathroom cleaning up some stuff and looked up at my window and just thought the light was beautiful and decided to take some pictures to share. Hope everyone had a great weekend and have a fantastic week!

This one has my typical crooked tilt...:/ But I just loved the light coming in and how it was blue and yellow at the same time.
