Exit Show Digital Display

The show came down today. I have to say I was really sad about it coming down but in honor of it being up I'm posting all the pictures that were up on here. Hope you enjoy and this is a way for everyone to see who didn't get to make it.

Even though this quote is about how parents can have more than one child and love them equally, I took it as each parent can give equal love regardless if they are together or not. Growing up in two homes I subconsciously wondered what it would be like to live with both parents in the same house, and I compared each of their homes and lifestyles to the other. My photographs are meant to be seen in the same sense: comparing portraits. They also represent a thought process that I became conscious of while making the photographs.

Cruise Light Painting

So I don't know if you've noticed but I love taking pictures of lights. I just love the colors they make and the way you can capture movement and then create light paintings. On the cruise my friends and I spent many a nights before dinner doing this so here are a few that I wanted to share.

These first pictures are very special to me because the very first cruise I ever went on I was learning how to take a picture with my 35mm camera. My uncle and I spent some quality time while he taught me how to use the camera and one of my favorite pictures I got out of the whole roll was the elevators on the ship in motion. I decided to try and recreate these.

Looking Forward to the Week!

So this week is going to be great. The show opening, or maybe it's just a reception, is this Friday. And then Glee comes on this Tuesday. It's a great great show and if you don't watch it you should tune in Tuesday to Fox at 9:28pm. YAY. I'm so excited because it's going to be a great week. I hope everyone has a great one!

I am proud to announce that I have finally finished my website! After a lot of stress I finally have something I love and it couldn't have come at a better time. My show opening is next week and I had some business cards printed up with my web address in hopes that it would be ready in time and lucky for me it is:).
